ABOUT THE DRILL TUTORIALS AND RESOURCES

The Ohio University Marching 110 utilizes the Pyware3D drill writing software for all field performances. Since 1967, the 110 has used the four man squad-based drill system, as well as incorporating additional traditional and contemporary drill techniques for performances.

The resources found here were created by Joshua Boyer, Assistant Director of Marching and Athletic Band at Ohio University. Since 2006, he has used Pyware3D for the creation of drill for Ohio University as well as numerous high school and college bands around the country - most of which incorporates the Moffit squad-based system and traditional drill concepts.

Click below to download the .GRD files used in the tutorials. Remember, if you use one of these all the time, you may want to download the file, copy and rename the copy "default.grd" and move that to your "Pyware3D/Layouts" folder to override the default grid.
